The dream starts off in my back yard my volleyball coach who cut me is there. With her daughter Estie, son atley, and husband Brian. There in the backyard yard talking with my parents about how they built a house. I remember how I was half way across the yard staring there from afar and they were bunched together. I got like closed lined and Estie laughed at me. They then talk more about there house they built. Soon Danita my volleyball coach and I are in her car and she is driving me. And I remember talking about how I want to move to great Britain and why I wanted to. I remember wanting to feel closer. And then we get to the house and I wake up.
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In your dream, several elements stand out that can provide insight into its meaning:
Volleyball Coach: Your coach represents authority, guidance, and perhaps unresolved feelings surrounding your experience with her. Being cut from the team might symbolize feelings of rejection or inadequacy that you may still be processing. Dreaming of her could indicate that you are grappling with these feelings or seeking closure.
Backyard Setting: A backyard often symbolizes familiar territory and personal space. It suggests a comfortable environment where you feel safe but also points to the boundaries of your current situation, potentially indicating that these feelings of rejection are still affecting your life.
Family Dynamics: The presence of your parents and your coach’s family suggests a mix of personal and external influences in your life. The discussion about building a house could symbolize stability, growth, and the making of a deeper connection. This might reflect a desire for stability in your own life or relationship with your family.
Feeling of Separation: The action of being half across the yard and looking on may signify feelings of isolation or distance from those you wish to connect with. This could relate to your coach, peers, or family, illustrating a desire for inclusion or acceptance.
Moving to Great Britain: This is a significant piece of the dream. It symbolizes a desire for change, adventure, and the pursuit of deeper personal fulfillment. Your wish to feel "closer" may represent a longing for a connection that feels more meaningful, whether that’s about relationships or finding your own path.
Car Ride: Being in the car with your coach suggests a journey, perhaps indicating a drive towards understanding or personal growth. The act of her driving indicates a dynamic where you may feel she has some control over your direction or that you are undergoing some form of transition.
In summary, this dream appears to encapsulate feelings of vulnerability, a desire for connection, and the search for belonging in your life. It reflects your journey towards finding your own space and place in the world, alongside grappling with feelings of rejection and the pursuit of new opportunities or experiences. Consider what aspects of your current reality resonate with these themes and how you might address them in your waking life.
